WHAT IS A MOBILE HAIRSTYLIST


A Mobile Hairstylist is a hair styling professional who does not work in/from a salon, but comes to you; whether it is your home, workplace, or a venue.

Having a Mobile Hairstylist come to you offers you more flexibility. It’s your home, you set the pace!

You don’t have to worry about getting a baby sitter or spending hours away from your laptop.



WHAT TO EXPECT



Booking with me will be much less of a hassle, more convenient and more relaxed because it’s your home and there is no rush or pressured environment. It’s easy to book - text or call to confirm a day and time that suits you best. It’s more personal, more economical and you will have no parking or travel issues. One on one – you will have 100% of my attention.

What do I need to supply before you come over to do my hair? I supply everything you will need for whichever service you decide. I bring everything from towels, capes, products, hairdryer & flatiron, etc. All I will need is a chair and perhaps a table, there is no need to set up a mirror if you don’t want to – it’s main purpose is so you can see your hair!


How long does each service take? Below I’ve outlined average service times:

Kids Cut – 25 Mins.

Gents Cut – 35 Mins. Ladies Cut and Blow Dry – 1 Hr.

Upstyle – 1 Hr and 15 Mins. Brazilian Blow Dry – 2 Hrs.


What shampoos, conditioners and other hair products do you recommend? INOAR Professional


Which room is best for the service?

Usually a kitchen as it has a work top, sockets, and usually a hard floor surface so hair can be swept.

In the case of a Brazilian Blow Dry, any room where there’s good ventilation.


What happens when you need to wash hair before a Brazilian Blow Dry? I provide a clarifying shampoo on arrival. Clients will find it very easy to wash using a standard shower head

over a bath or a sink. My assistance may be required.


Do I need to wash my hair before a cut? Yes please! Unless discussed otherwise.

Gents and boys' hair need to be free of product (eg. gel/wax) and no swimming-pool-hair please!

Ladies, please wash as close as possible before the cut - shampoo and condition hair as normal.


What hours do you work, for example do you work evenings? I work Mondays to Fridays, any time between 9am and 6pm.

Weekends are for weddings :)


How much notice do I need to give for booking? I almost always make it work if you do make a booking on short notice,

but a week or two in advance will give you more options and help me with planning.


How do I pay?

Cash, Card, or EFT (on the spot) is accepted.


Do you charge a travel fee?

  • There is no travel fee for appointments above R250 within Paarl.

  • All areas outside of Paarl - R5 p/km (unless discussed otherwise).


Cancellation Policy:

I understand that sometimes schedules change and therefore request at least 24 hours notice when canceling or rescheduling your appointment. Appointments canceled within 24 hours will incur a charge of 50% of the service amount. Any service that is cancelled on my arrival will be charged 100% of the service amount.
